Description

Watch the 1972 Academy-Award Winning film, The Garden of the Finzi-Continis at the Mandel JCC! Directed by Vittorio De Sica, The Garden of the Finzi-Continis tells the story of the intellectual Finzi-Contini family, Jewish aristocrats who live on an idyllic estate. At first they are sheltered from the growing anti-Semitism in their country, but soon the walls and gardens of their home cannot shield them from the realities of Fascist Italy.
