Early Childhood Educator

The Mandel JCC of the Palm Beaches is looking to add experienced, dedicated Preschool Teachers, Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers, to its Early Childhood Learning Centers. Our classrooms each have an assigned Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher that are responsible for working together in their assigned class of children in planning and implementing the curriculum, working with parents, and assessing the needs of individual children under the guidance of the Lead Teacher and Director of Early Learning. The curriculum must meet the emotional, physical, cognitive & social needs for both the individual child and the group. Work is supervised by the Lead Teacher and Early Childhood Director on a limited basis, as necessary. Work schedule is generally full-time 30 - 40 hours during each work week Monday – Friday.

Aftercare Counselor

The afterschool program at the Mandel JCC of the Palm Beaches is for children in Kindergarten - 5th Grade. Our goal is to provide high quality afterschool programing, in a safe, nurturing, and fun environment.

Afterschool counselors are responsible for engaging in activities, assisting children in the development of self-esteem, and supervising children in an active environment. Afterschool counselors work either from 1:30 - 6 pm, 2 - 6 pm, or 3 - 6 pm, Monday - Friday.

Children’s, Tween and Teen Coordinator

Under the direction of the Children & Family Program Director and Camp Director, the Children’s, Tween and Teen Coordinator is responsible for overall engagement and programming for ages 4th grade through high school. Normal working hours will include evenings and weekends.

Palm Beach Gardens Postions

Arts and Culture Coordinator

The Arts & Culture Coordinator with work closely with both managers of the department and assist in all aspects of events, memberships and registration. Events include year-round author talks, film presentations/talks, educational lectures, recitals and all components of the annual The Donald M. Ephraim Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival. These events may be presented in-person or virtually, occasional evening or weekend.

The A&C Coordinator is expected to assist in the renewal of A&C members and tracks membership numbers for reporting. Additionally, the Coordinator will assist and/or register individuals over the phone for specific events. A good phone and email personality is essential for this position.

Building Services Associate

The Mandel JCC of the Palm Beaches is looking for a Building Services Associate for our Palm Beach Gardens campus. The selected individual will perform event set-up and upkeep of the Palm Beach Gardens campus, including routine activities such as light cleaning, event set-up, light maintenance working under the supervision of the Managing Director. Work schedule is generally 25-30 hours during each week Sunday – Saturday as directed by work schedule and deadlines. Travel between JCC locations may be required.
