Description

Kristalnacht refers to the window smashing which was part of the coordinated attack that broke out the night of November 9, 1938 by the Nazis against Jewish people and their property. The orgy of violence left in its wake huge numbers of Jewish dead and injured, destroyed homes, gutted synagogues and Jewish-owned business. It marked the beginning of the reign of interminable persecutions and murders of Jews known as the Holocaust and start of World War II.
