Grades K - 8

At Camp Shalom, we strive to provide an environment that fosters peer relationships, while still considering the needs of the individual camper. Our K-8th grade program allows campers to participate in a camp schedule that offers a mixture of traditional camp programming and individualized group time. Each week of camp features an exciting dress-up day and a fun-filled special event like Wacky Water Day, The Color Run, Talent Show, engaging shows, and more.

Field Trips

Campers entering grades 2-8 enjoy our exciting field trip program. Camp Shalom’s trip program allows campers the chance to experience a unique sense of friendship among their peers by expanding their relationships outside the typical camp day. Sports and Traditional campers entering grades 2nd & 3rd go on field trips every other week while campers entering grades 4th through 8th travel weekly. We travel via air-conditioned motor coaches for all field trips.

Grades 6 - 8

We are so excited to continue offering our Tzofim group at Camp Shalom! A summer program created specifically with middle schoolers in mind. Campers will enjoy 4 days a week on campus with greater program choices designed just for them and then travel to cool spots around South Florida once a week! During the summer, our Tzofim campers will engage in a variety of team building activities, as well as participate in community service projects to teach the Jewish value of “tikkun olam” or healing the world. With flexible week options, campers can join their friends before and after attending overnight camp or for the whole summer.
