Their journeys to find shelter and safety on our shores are documented. The stories may sound like fiction. Their struggle to succeed, their rise from absolute poverty to valuable citizen of this great country and their contributions to “our” country what it is today, is a story that needs to be told. It is told by one who went through this journey, survived and tells it to those who believe it never happened.
