Description

The average 4-year old laughs 300-500 times a day while theaverage 40-year old laughs only 4 times a day. Why? Adultslaugh less because we don’t find much to laugh about and kids laugh at anything, but, we need to laugh to stay well. Dr. Norman Cousins, Dr. Patch Adams and Dr. Laurence J. Peter all used ‘Laughter as Medicine’, to help people reduce stress, strengthen their immune systems, moderate pain and exercise their lungs. Dr. Cousins, former Editor of the Saturday Review used laughter to recover from a life-threatening illness. This 2-session class is fun, experiential, interactive and educational. We’ll use discussion, lecture, handouts, videos, PowerPoint slides, games and exercises that will add more fun and laughter into your life.
