As the initial head of General Motors Design from 1926 to 1958, Harley Earl is the father of the Corvette and has been compared to Steve Jobs for his astounding contribution to the design, technology, business and culture of the auto industry around the world. This talk will focus on the revolutionary innovations, vision and modern marketing techniques that Harley brought to GM, enabling it to surpass Ford and every other car company in much of the same way that Steve Jobs did with Apple generations later.
